Permute - Social decision making by comparison and anonymous poll 1.0.2

Decision-making can be challenging, whether one is alone or accompanied by indecisive companions.

In response to this, I developed Permute, an application designed to facilitate swift, informed, and anonymous decisions through a distinctive approach. Unlike conventional polls, Permute emphasizes side-by-side comparisons to help users and their friends clarify options and reach consensus more efficiently.

The functionality of Permute involves dividing the set of potential choices into pairs and anonymously soliciting each participant's preferred option within each pair. As responses are collected, the application constructs an internal ranking of the options based on these preferences.

Upon completion, Permute identifies and presents the most favored choice. This process aims to break the cycle of indecision—such as endless discussions of "What do you want to do?"—and instead enables groups to proceed with their plans confidently and promptly.

Future Developments:

As this is the initial release, the app remains in a basic form. Should there be sufficient interest and positive reception, I plan to incorporate an online social component. This would enable users to log in and create decision groups with friends using Permute.
